Roni Blau received her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Smith College and her Masters in Social Work from University of Southern California. For the past 15 years, she has offered individual, couples and group psychotherapy in a variety of settings, including The Guidance Clinic in Long Beach, UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, Saban Community Clinic in Los Angeles, and the Actors Fund, where she worked with a variety of creative professionals.
Roni believes that lasting change can come from recognizing unconscious, repetitive patterns that empower us to make conscious, often healthier, choices. While challenging, the work can also provide relief and meaning in one’s life.
Roni has certificates in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies and the Psychoanalytic Center of California. She is a former board member of the Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles.
Roni is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker registered by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (LCSW 24203).
