Nataj Walker (she/her) is a passionate and dedicated clinician with a rich background in serving diverse communities. Rooted in cultural humility, Nataj’s approach emphasizes ongoing self-reflection, mutual respect, and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each client. She is committed to fostering equitable, inclusive, and safe therapeutic spaces where individuals and families can explore their stories and find healing. With an appreciation for the complex interplay of culture, identity, and lived experience, Nataj helps clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding.

Drawing from a multimodal framework, Nataj integrates a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s needs. With a niche in Expressive Arts Therapy (EXA), she explores the dynamics of the creative process to help clients uncover insights, process emotions, and build resilience. Nataj also incorporates somatic techniques, such as progressive muscle relaxation and breathwork, to support clients in connecting with their bodies and reducing stress. Her approach is enriched by elements of Jungian Therapy, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Adlerian Therapy, allowing for a holistic and personalized experience.

Nataj offers sessions both in person at the SLP offices in Los Feliz, as well as via telehealth. She has worked with individuals, couples, and families in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, preschools, family youth outreach programs, and non-profits. Nataj is also trained through NOCD to provide specialized care for clients with OCD, equipping them to address the unique challenges and needs of those managing obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Nataj is particularly skilled at helping clients explore themes of connection, communication, and identity while fostering a sense of empowerment.

At the core of Nataj’s work is a deep respect for the client’s lived experience and an unwavering belief in their capacity for growth. By integrating creativity, somatic awareness, and culturally attuned practices, Nataj helps clients move toward greater self-awareness and healing. Whether through narrative play therapy with families or insight-oriented work with individuals, Nataj’s therapeutic presence is warm, collaborative, and deeply affirming. She invites clients to embark on a journey of exploration and transformation in a space that honors their unique voice and story.
